As the filing of bid protests for federal acquisitions continues to increase, both prime contractors and subcontractors have important interests in ensuring that their proposal was considered fairly and that any contract award they received is preserved. During this webinar, attendees will learn about significant issues and best practices for drafting a teaming agreement and how the terms of that agreement may affect their situation in a bid protest. Our faculty will also explain the basics of bid protests, including the various forums where a protest may be filed, the rules for each fora, and the most frequently successfully protest grounds. We will discuss how to maximize the effectiveness of a debriefing, especially under the new debriefing rules recently issued by the Department of Defense. Finally, attendees will learn the best practices for supporting the bid protest legal team.
Learning Objectives
PCI and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman will collaborate again in 2018 to present the fourth year of the Supply Chain Symposium, a monthly webinar series that provides insights about latest legal and practical issues that impact the supply chain. Attendees include management from the largest prime contractors and systems integrators to employees of small businesses and the lowest tier of subcontractors. In 2018, the PCI/Pillsbury Supply Chain Symposium will cover the mandatory FAR and DFARS flow-down clauses as of January 1, 2018; best practices in subcontract management and administration; preservation of data rights; monitoring cyber security throughout the supply chain; bid protest issues; cost and pricing issues; and recommended areas of emphasis driven by the current Presidential administration. We hope you will join us.
Each registration allows for one person to log in. Your team members can join you in a conference room for no additional cost. Additional logins for those located in other offices, working remotely, or otherwise unable to participate with the registrant can be purchased for $200 each.
