Take a trek with a specialist farmer guide for an insider’s viewinto rural Balinese life. Travel to Pejeng village situated on the outskirts of Ubud.Located between two rivers this small village surrounded by rice paddies thatcascade down the hillside in lush green terraces. On arrival, meet Nyoman, alocal farmer who will be your expert guide during the trekking adventure. He willtake you through his traditional village and show you the different types of housesand temples. As you walk through the tiered rice fields, hear all about the subaksystem, an ancient irrigation system that has been in use since the 9th century.Pass by farmers tending to their crops, women washing their clothes in the river,and children playing games with homemade toys. Stop for a cooling drink of freshyoung coconut before enjoying a simple picnic lunch in Nyomans traditionalBalinese pavilion. 01OCT FULL DAY UBUD(B,L)Today you will be picked up for a full day tour of Ubud, drive to the mountainin the region of Bedugul. You will visit Taman Ayun Temple. Taman AyunTemple is a landmark in the village of Mengwi. This temple complex boastsmagnificent traditional architectural features throughout its courtyards andenclosures as well as expansive garden landscapes comprised of lotus andfishponds. The Taman Ayun Temple was to serve as a main site of worshipamong the Mengwi people who do not need to travel too far to the main largetemples. It also served as a unifying symbol among the Mengwi royalty and thepeople.
Visit Ulun Danu Beratan TempleThe Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is both a famous picturesque landmark and asignificant temple complex located on the western side of the Beratan Lake inBedugul, central Bali. The whole Bedugul area is actually a favourite cool uplandweekend and holiday retreat for locals and island visitors alike from thesouthern and urban areas. Ulun Danu Beratan, literally the source temple ofLake Beratan is the islands most iconic sanctuary sharing the scenic qualitieswith the seaside temples of Uluwatu and Tanah Lot. The local paddies thatplanted in this area are typical for the high relative size plant compared withother preeminent paddy planted by most farmers in Bali. Jatiluwih also famouswith its organic agriculture system.

02OCT DEPART UBUD TO LOMBOK(B)Today after breakfast, you will check out of hotel and will be transferred toPadangbai harbour. Then jump on to the speedboat and cruise to Teluk Kodekpier in Lombok Island. Once arrive at Teluk Kodek pier, our representative willwelcome you and drive you to your hotel for check in.

03OCT LOMBOK AND WATERFALLS TOUR(B/L)This morning you will be picked up from the hotel for the today’s tour. Drive toGunung Sari (a carpenters village where they mage various sizes of woodengazebo) and on to Duman Village and wind up to Karang Bayan Village via theroad across landscaped rice fields. We will take a look into Karang Bayan Villageand see the local’s life styles, daily activities, and traditional houses. Wefrequently see people here weaving the elephant grass into intricate boxes andfor some other kinds. The drive will continue to the water springs of Suranadisided with protected forest and groups of grey monkeys that in and out theforest onto the Suranadi holy shrines taking the left-behind offering fruits andcakes. In this temple complex prevails some ponds of everlasting springs thatalso function as the Wishing Ponds. Make your wish here and pray for the goalyou wish to achieve in your life. After Suranadi we will be back to the main roadand head toward Sesaot, then on to Sedau irigation damp. The roads are pitybut the views along the way are worth of refrshing eyes and mind. We will astop at Sedau Damp for attractive landscapes and with rice terraces and greenwall on the background. For lunch, we will take you to Canting Mas Restaurantthat serves local foods as well as other Indonesian meals. Please let us knowpromptly when you are not fancy of spicy foods. After lunch, we will proceedto Teratak Village and follow unpaved road toward Benang Setokel Waterfall.We will begin our walks here and follow the trails up to the first fall reknownedas Benang Kelambu Waterfall. The trek with up and down paths may take yourextra energy, but the surrounding views are worth of your adventure. The nameof these two waterfalls are unique. Derived from the local dialect, BenangSetokel means a roll of threds, while Benang Kelambu means the curtain ofthreds. You will discover how the names resemble to the waterfalls as youapproach them. We will take a break at Benang Kelambu Waterfall and youmay take a refreshing bath as well.
04OCT THE THREE GILI ISLANDS TOUR(B, L)This morning you will be transferred from your hotel to the harbor to board ona local boat. Sit back and relax for the 30-minute cruise over to the Gili Islands,a group of 3 tiny islands near the coast of northwest Lombok. Characterized bysandy beaches fringed with palm trees, they known for their serenity due to theabsence of any motorized transport. Stop first at Gili Trawangan, the largestand most popular of the three islands. The island known for its breathtakingbeaches and snorkelling sites. Spend some time on the beach relaxing,swimming and snorkeling. If you prefer to explore the island this can be doneby foot or renting out a bicycle or why not hop onto the back of a local horsedrawncart and enjoy the islands traditional mode of transport.Venture into the interior of the island to see some of the villages and fishingcommunities. From Gili Trawangan, sail to Gili Meno, the smallest and thequietest of the three Gilis. Home to a crystal and clear water full of coral andcolorful fishes, this is the ideal place to snorkel and swim. The final stop is atGili Air where you can spend the remainder of the afternoon on the beach. Sailback to the harbour and then transfer back to hotel.
05OCT DEPART LOMBOK TO SANUR(B)This morning after breakfast, the guide will transfer you to Teluk Kodek pier forthe speedboat transfer back to Serangan harbor in Bali. Once arrive at SeranganHarbor, transfer to your hotel in for check in. In the evening you will be pickedup by your guide then drive to the Sindhu Night Market where you can minglingand find suitable local Warung for your dinner.(dinner will be at your ownexpense)
