The Board of TAFE Directors Australia (TDA) warmly invites you to “NETWORKED TAFE” our 2017 convention to be held at the Hilton Adelaide, South Australia.
This year the overarching theme of the TDA Convention is “Networked TAFE”.
TAFE institutes are part of the fabric of Australian society. They contribute not only to the skills development of individuals, but to the economic and social wellbeing of their communities and to the overall prosperity of the nation.
TAFE Institutes as part of a strong national network work with individuals, students, communities, enterprises, industries and government both in Australia and overseas.
TAFE institutes make an impact by their involvement in this network
It is intended that the TDA Convention will explore a wide range of topics through the keynote presentations, concurrent sessions and market place activities , including “Industry partnerships, community development and engagement, international collaboration, leadership development, regional development activities, industry skills centres, training product development, remote learning access, higher education articulation programs, indigenous engagement, digital learning, applied research and design activities, higher level apprenticeships.
These topics are but a part of “Networked TAFE”.
Like the 2016 TDA convention held in Melbourne and the 2015 conference held in Hobart the 2017 TDA Convention aims to bring together over 400 attendees from Australia and around the world for two and a half days of networking and learning – all with the goal of increasing and accelerating skilling opportunities for Australians.
We hope that you will be inspired to join us in Adelaide for “NETWORKED TAFE”.
