Technology Roundtable - Wednesday, May 29, 2019

The Technology Roundtable will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET. Lunch will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Attire is business casual.  

A live video conference option will be offered for attendees that are not able to participate in-person. Login information for the video conference will be emailed to participants prior to the session.


Topics presented and discussed will include:

  • Making sure your credit union is compliant with DFI and FFIEC audit requirements.
    • Data processors.
    • Onsite servers the credit union is responsible for patching.
    • How does your credit union stack up with current Brokered IT audit findings?
  • Patch management and why Microsoft patching with WSUS isn’t enough.
  • The difference between managed patch and antivirus management and what you need to know.
  • Windows 7 and Office 2010 end of life support in Jan 2020 by Microsoft and what you need to know.
  • Your telephone system – you could be paying $100s more a month than you should.
  • Vendor management – the more you know.
