TF-CBT Learning Collaborative #11

CACTX is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for a new Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Learning Collaborative to begin on May 8-9, 2017. This collaborative will be a comprehensive training program that will include two 2-day learning sessions here in Austin and 12 monthly consultation calls. Kelly Wilson, LCSW, is an approved TF-CBT Trainer who has conducted each of the nine previous collaboratives and will return to facilitate this new offering. Clinicians who complete the collaborative and consultation calls will be eligible to sit for the TF-CBT certification exam, which is a nationally recognized credential.

In support of our membership, CACTX will cover the cost of the training and assessments. CACs will be responsible for covering the travel expenses for clinicians to attend both learning sessions. There is no limit to the number of clinicians who can apply from a CAC; however, the number of training slots is limited. Each clinician must complete an application and submit it to CACTX for consideration. Because of space limitation, we cannot guarantee that all clinicians who submit an application will be able to participate; however, we will try to accommodate as many clinicians as possible.

The links below provide more detailed information on the requirements for participants, the ED Acknowledgement Letter that must be included with each application, and the application itself, which must be completed and submitted to CACTX by March 29, 2017. If you have any questions, please contact Kayla Radford at 512-906-2904.

Important Note: Submission of your application does not guarantee acceptance into the collaborative.  Your registration will be pending until all applications are reviewed.  Once the review process is complete, all applicants will be notified of their status via email.
