About The Global Spa & Wellness Summit
The Summit is an annual, invitation-only event where thought leaders join together to help shape the future of the global spa and wellness industry. The goal of the Summit is to provide the industry with an intimate, high-level gathering where CEOs and representatives from diverse sectors such as hospitality, finance, architecture and real estate, medicine, manufacturing, technology, consulting and other related industries can network, learn and share ideas to better the industry. The Inaugural Global Wellness Tourism Congress
This is the first year that special focus will be given to the emerging arena of Wellness Tourism at the Global Spa and Wellness Summit. The first day of the Summit will have a parallel event called the Global Wellness Tourism Congress.
The Congress will bring together public and private stakeholders who are charting the course of the rapidly growing wellness tourism sector. Join government ministers, tourism, health and economic development leaders, CEOs of private companies, visionaries in medical tourism, and other industry VIPs, who will present case studies, engage in open dialogue, and map the future of wellness tourism. SRI International (founded as Stanford Research Institute) will also present groundbreaking results of its new 2013 Global Wellness Tourism Economy Impact Study.
