The Sheldonian Theatre, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and completed in 1669 is known as one of Oxford's architectural Jewels. The theatre is used as the ceremonial Hall of the University of Oxford and is used for the University's graduation ceremonies.

The Welcome Ceremony of the 22nd ISFC Conference will be taking place at the Theatre on Sunday 21st July 2018.

Poster Presentation Venue - The Oxford Museum of Natural History

Founded in 1860 as the centre for scientific study at the University of Oxford, the Museum of Natural History now holds the University’s internationally significant collections of geological and zoological specimens. Housed in a stunning example of neo-Gothic architecture, the Museum’s growing collections underpin a broad programme of natural environment research, teaching and public engagement. Among its most famous features are the Oxfordshire dinosaurs and the Dodo.

The poster sessions of the 22nd ISFC Conference will be taking place at the Museum across the week. The Examination Schools, Sheldonian Theatre and the Museum of Natural History are all within a short walk of one another.
