SYNOPSIS:
The theme of this year's symposium will be: "The secret sauce: the missing elements of clinical success". In our clinical practices, we often incorporate various material, techniques and protocols, based on scientific studies, as well as experience. However, as clinical practice is both an art and a science, certain essential elements may make the difference between those, who consistently achieve excellent outcomes, versus those who fall short. The secret is not necessarily a matter of skills, intelligence, or competence, that distinguishes those, who achieve excellent clinical outcomes, from the rest. Those achieving the absolute best outcomes, have developed specific protocols, using specific material and techniques and they faithfully adhere to their protocol. Wouldn't you like to know what is the "secret sauce" of the top clinicians in the world? The faculty of the 44th International USC Periodontal & Implant Symposium is composed of world-renown clinicians and experts, who have agreed to share their secret sauce with the participants of the symposium. The program boasts five days with a diverse range of educational opportunities. The two-days of general sessions will include lecture presentation and case presentations, as well as expert panel discussion. In addition, there are a variety of surgical and prosthetic hands-on workshops on models, animal jaws, as well as three cadaver workshops. Although the majority of the general-session presentations are interdisciplinary in nature, there are also sessions designated as "Surgical Track", "Restorative Track" and "Dental Hygiene Forum" that focus on specific disciplines. The program is sure to inspire you and provide material, which are very germane to clinical practice. This is an educational opportunity not to be missed by the entire oral healthcare team, including specialists, restorative dentists, dental hygienists and dental technologists.
