Course Description
This intensive one-day course is designed to help end-user /OEM /Contractor personnel /EIT /Engineers working with turbomachinery such as centrifugal gas compressors used in process industries learn more about 7 major factors and respective root causes of failure of Dry Gas Seals (DGS) of Centrifugal Gas Compressors used in oil, gas and petrochemical industries. One of the root causes for centrifugal gas compressor failure during first start up is a failure of the respective DGS system. 

Causes of failure of DGS of 43 sets centrifugal gas compressors used in different services/temperature/pressure/size/application/type were studied, identified and categorized into seven different groups by the instructor over 10 years. These factors are described in more detail during the course and participants will become familiar with more than 20 causes of DGS failure
