Dr Smit is an Aesthetic and Sports Physician in Pretoria, South Africa.
She graduated in medicine at the University of the Free State, and then specialized in Sports Medicine at the University of Pretoria. She has been running a private practice ever since. She is the president of the Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine Society of South Africa and she is also president member of the International Union of Aesthetic Medicine for the past 5 years. Dr Smit is the chair scientific program organizer of the Aesthetic Medicine Congress of South Africa. She is the author of many articles and scientific publications focusing on skin rejuvenation developments. She has a passion for research. She does numerous trainings and consultancies for various companies. She is also a regular invited speaker at international and local congresses or meetings. She is the course developer for the first formal post-graduate training in aesthetic medicine with a higher education institution in SouthAfrica. Dr Smit is also an official trainer and faculty member for the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine training doctors in Botulinum Toxin, Fillers and Mesotherapy for level 1 and 2 diplomas in Africa, Asia, Middle East and Australia. Last, but not the least, she is the mother of 3 children!

Brief Bio

Dr Niemann qualified as a Medical Practitioner in 1974 from The University of Pretoria and as a Senior Aviation Examiner in 1978.  He became a Member of the College of Medicine in 1979 (Faculty of Family Practitioners) and has been a practising Family Physician since 1981. In 1988, Dr Niemann completed his Masters Degree in Pharmacology at The University of Pretoria.  In the last decade, Dr Niemann has developed an interest in anti-aging treatments with over 14 years of experience in administering Botox. He has trained with Belgium’s renowned Dr Koen de Boulle and the UK’s Dr Jean Carruthers and attends numerous international congresses, such as the Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgical Dermatotogy in Paris in October 2006 and most recently the International Masters Congress on Aging Skin in Paris 2007.

Dr Alastair Clark is in full time Medical Aesthetic Practice at his clinic Sandton Aesthetic Institute in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa and works frequently in Paris, Milan and Stockholm.

Dr Clark trains other doctors in this country and internationally in the art and science of aesthetic injection techniques and designs and delivers courses in the disciplines of filler volumisation, neuromuscular manipulation with botulinum neurotoxin, IPL and laser, as well as physical treatments of the skin. Dr Clark was installed in October 2007 as one of twenty international Global Trainers to give instruction internationally on behalf of QMed.

Dr Clark has presented and given live demonstrations at numerous international congresses, both in SA and in Europe and academically at the two year Postgraduate Programme in Aesthetic Medicine presented by the Foundation for Professional Development.

Craige Golding
MD, ABAARM, FAARFM, FICT, FCP (SA), MS USF, Member: NUGO, AAAM 

Specialist Physician & Anti Aging Physician is a specialist physician and chief medical advisor in private practice at the Integrative Medical Centre in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa where he practices integrative medicine combining natural medicines, nutraceuticals, bio-identical hormones, intravenous treatments, allopathics (where needed) and many other medical biotechnologies to enhance the health of his clients.
Dr. Golding qualified as a medical doctor 1993 Cum Laude. He is a fellow of the South African College of Physicians and qualified as a specialist physician in 1999. He practiced as a specialist physician at the Rosebank Clinic for 8 years, taking charge of their Intensive Care Unit for several years over this period. His interest in integrative, functional and anti-aging medicine began about 6 years ago when he realized that simply managing disease and not making people well was not enough.
Dr. Golding has board certification from the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM). He has completed his advanced fellowship in anti-aging, functional and regenerative medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (FAARM). He is the only doctor in Africa to have attained these qualifications.
Dr Golding has completed a certification in chelation therapies with ACAM (American College for Advancements in Medicine) and is also a member of their organisation. He has completed a masters qualification in medical sciences with a concentration on metabolic and nutritional medicine with the university of south florida. He has also completed a 6 module fellowship program in integrative cancer treatments in the USA in August 2010. He has also completed a certification course in nutrigenomics (NUGO in Europe). This particular certification is a 4 module course on nutrigenomics, polymorphisms, proteomics and metabolomics.
Prior to completing his fellowship as a specialist physician, he was awarded the Akromed prize for the best student in Psychiatry, the Horrace Wells medal for the best student in Anaesthetics, and the Maybaker prize for the best progress in Pharmacology as an undergraduate student. He is the medical director of Solal Technologies, the leading anti-aging and preventive medicine company in the country .
Dr Golding is a faculty member of the postgraduate aesthetics society of south Africa, AAAM, IFIM and is also the training co-ordinator and director of a teaching academy in South Africa known as the SA academy of integrative medicine.
