Terms & Conditions

  • If an attendee is more than 10 minutes late to a seminar, entry may be denied by the moderator.  If allowed to attend past 10 minutes from the start, a certificate for credits will NOT be provided.

  • Certificates for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for those seminars that are approved for continuing education credits will be available at the end of each session.  If an individual paid their registration fee, signed into the session, and attended the seminar for the minimum contact time of 50 minutes, the moderator will hand a paper certificate to the attendee at the close of the presentation.  The attendee MUST write their name on the certificate and maintain for future records.

  • Attendees are responsible for retaining certificates and satisfying NYSED requirements for maintaining continuing education records.  The E-Week Committee can replace lost certificates upon request, but there will be an administrative handling fee for this service.

  •  E-Week is sponsored by the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE), and continuing education credits are granted by The Practicing Institute of Engineering (PIE), a NYS approved provider.

  • There will be a moderator in each of the seminar rooms; they will pass around attendance sheets, so please make sure you sign in for each seminar you attend.  At the end of the seminar you will get your certificate from the moderator. Write you name on it.   If you are not registered for PDH’s with the appropriate name badge on you will NOT get a certificate.

Hotel Information & Parking

Reservations can be made directly with The Albany Marriott, no later than January 25th.   All reservation requests received after the deadline will be subject to availability.   Call: 518-458-8444 or 800-443-8952.  Room Rate: $153 - Group Name: M-6C97B1W/ Engineers E-Week Event.

PARKING INFORMATION:
The Wolf Road area is very congested, and parking is limited.  For obvious reasons, we encourage as much carpooling as possible.  We have reviewed the parking situation with the Marriott Hotel and can share the following information:
  •  In October, the Marriott completed a project to update portions of the two-level parking garage.  They anticipate that the upper level of the parking garage will be open every day this winter.
  • The Hotel has had discussions with the management of two adjacent properties about overflow parking for our event.  Attendees at E-Week who are unable to find a parking spot on hotel property may park in the lot surrounding the Rosenblum building (the mostly-glass building on the left as you enter the main Marriot driveway , aka Beltrone Drive, from Wolf Road) or the Clough-Harbor lot immediately behind the hotel.
