The Future of Ambulatory Care is Now

Did you know that the future of healthcare delivery is moving toward the Ambulatory Care setting?

The Center for Lifelong Learning at UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing wants to make sure that nurses and clinical staff are prepared to embrace this inevitable shift in patient care, and we are especially excited to introduce a brand new Ambulatory Care program on April 28th, 2018, at the Hampton Inn in Carrboro.

If you take care of patients who receive care in the outpatient setting… this program is for YOU! Participants will learn more about the reasons that patient care is shifting towards the ambulatory care setting. For example, there will be a focus on population health, new healthcare delivery models, transitions of care, and expanding access using new technology such as telemedicine and mobile-health. You will also learn how the quality of healthcare will be measured and evaluated.

The delivery of patient care is rapidly changing, and The Future of Ambulatory Care is Now! Do not wait to register for this incredibly important program – we look forward to seeing you there!

This program is worth 6 contact hours.

Lunch will be provided.

This program is sponsored, in part, by UNC Health Care.
