This program is designed to address the opportunity for developing and implementing a new care delivery model that addresses many issues facing chief nurse officers. These issues include CDMs that provide for accountability at the point of care with roles and performance focused on achieving patient care outcomes. The program with meet the following objectives:


  1. Gain an understanding of the evolution of the CNL model of care over a five year period within a multihospital healthcare system.
  2. Examine the impact on patient care delivery within the healthcare system.
  3. Glimpse the thinking around future directions for the CNL role within the system.
