The Preventative Maintenance (PM) challenge – reviewing and upgrading your PM routines - Lunchtime Forum

When did you last review your preventative maintenance routines?

Are you carrying out the right maintenance activities?

Are your PM routines effective in ensuring your equipment operates reliably?

Are you getting value for money and value for the time spent by your technicians?

Or has your maintenance simply evolved over many years?

If preventative maintenance routines are not reviewed you may find that your team is slavishly carrying out routines that are not effective and may no longer even be relevant.

In this lunchtime forum we will discuss different techniques used to ensure that your maintenance activities are effective, as part of an overall maintenance review process. This will include:

- The identification of equipment criticality and vulnerability to ensure focus on the right equipment
The review of equipment PM routines - ‘the PM Challenge’
The development of new or modified routines using maintenance templates for different equipment types and FMEA for critical or non-standard equipment
