Many often wonder, "What are the key skills necessary for leaders to be effective and successful?"
This 2-day workshop is backed by more than 25 years of original research and data from Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner, the authors of The Leadership Challenge® Workshop. Their research boils it down! Kouzes and Posner’s findings identify and validate Five Practices that are critical for leaders to be successful. Immensely practical and hands-on, the series is designed to inspire, engage and help participants to gain insights into their own personal development needs to meet whatever leadership challenges lie ahead.
The Strategic Leader includes the Leadership Practices Inventory™ (LPI Self), a self-assessment that provides a way for an individual to measure the frequency of their own specific behaviors in the Five Practices.
During the sessions, we will introduce the program and its key components including the Five Practices and the LPI Assessment. A module for each of the Practices describes the practice, reviews the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) items related to that practice, and ends with techniques that ask participants to reflect on how to apply what they have learned to a current leadership challenge of their own. The closing module helps participants identify specific actions for improving in at least one of the Five Practices and for communicating that plan with their team or manager. With a plan of action in hand for taking the key learnings from the workshop back to the workplace, participants are prepared to implement these new leadership practices back on the job and apply them to a current organizational challenge.
Fee includes training materials, assessment, workbook and catered lunch.
