Proposals to present are being accepted now through January 8, 2018 @ 12:00 PM MT.

Please read the text below before submitting a proposal as many guidelines have changed.

Co-Presenters

If you will have a co-presenter(s), please note:

  • Co-presenters are not eligible to receive honorariums or complimentary registration.
We are unable to switch names around after sessions are accepted, so the main presenter must be the one to submit a proposal.
  • Co-presenters must be willing and able to substitute/step in for the main presenter in the event of an unforeseen circumstance that would prevent him or her from presenting.

Please discuss these guidelines with your co-presenter(s) before submitting your proposal.

Vendors

TIE recognizes that many sessions focusing on the integration or application of specific technologies may encompass commercial products. This is acceptable and encouraged... provided they are appropriately labeled.

If you or a co-presenter represents (or was recruited to present by) a company or organization whose products or services are being discussed, you must:

  • indicate as such on the proposal form, and
  • have a booth already secured in the exhibit hall.

Failure to do either WILL result in your proposal being permanently disqualified.

Complimentary Registration

The main presenter of a session that is accepted will be eligible to receive complimentary conference registration for Monday and/or Tuesday. A Sunday indepth workshop can be added on at the discounted rate of $80, if desired.

Co-presenter(s) and vendors are not eligible to receive complimentary registration.

The main presenter's free registration is non-transferable.

Honorariums

Main presenters who are K12 teachers are eligible to receive:

  • $100 per breakout, and
  • $300 per in-depth

for each session they successfully conduct and provide resources for.

  • Honorariums are non-transferable and can be issued to individuals only.
  • A W-9 form will be required (including social security number) per IRS regulations.

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance will be emailed to the main presenter by the first week in February with further instructions.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Megan.
