For nearly two decades, the Tour Link Conference has provided touring professionals and those that support their work with the opportunity to come together for three days of networking, education and entertainment. Event organizer, Larry Smith, has been leading these events for over thirty-five years and has once again assembled an impressive team to run the event with some new faces as well as several returning veterans. Boasting over 750 attendees at the last gathering, this year promises to be bigger and more comprehensive than ever.
The annual Tour Link Golf Outing kicks off on the morning of January 26th. Nearly 100 industry professionals tee off at the Shotgun Start Tournament. Skill level ranges from beginners to near-pro, making for a tournament that all can enjoy! Sponsored golf holes add to the fun with tournament-only swag, photo ops, snacks, and specialty drinks. The Tour Link Golf Outing is a great way to reconnect with old friends and clients, as well as meet some new ones.
Our Opening Night Reception, held January 26th at the JW Marriott, is not to be missed! As a change from previous years, the event will be held indoors at the main ballroom allowing attendees to spruce up a bit and engage in a reunion with old friends and new.
The panels and round-table sessions on January 27th and 28th, explore a variety of topics that address the most current concerns of our industry including creating safer concert environments; improving communication between touring groups, hotels, and travel agencies; budgets and settlements as well as our most popular “You Can’t Make This Shit Up” panel. Every year the sessions are upgraded, expanded and improved. This year is no different. After listening to comments, suggestions and criticisms from the previous event, every effort has been made to implement industry input to make the sessions more meaningful.
Conference registrants are provided with “Carbs and Coffee” each morning and a catered lunch between sessions at the hotel on Friday and Saturday.
The Transportation Outing, held off-site at Signature Flight Support at the Palm Springs International Airport the evening of January 27th, is a fun night for all to check out the latest in transportation from our sponsors. Explore the very latest in ground and air transportation, from star coaches to charter jets, you’ll get to experience it all while enjoying a culinary feast from one of our industry's top caterers. Transportation between hotel and the airport is provided.
You’ll find that the final evening’s festivities arrive all too soon. The evening and conference culminate with the presentation of our annual Top Dog Awards and Touring Hall of Fame induction ceremony the evening of January 28th. We strongly recommend that you plan to stay the night as the after-show gatherings are legendary.
