Why Attend?

This event will review current developments in ultrasound education, career structure and management. We will review how sonographer research can be facilitated and look at the role and nature of advanced and consultant sonographer practice, since there have been many recent developments relating to these. The role of proposed apprenticeship and primary degree pathways in both medical ultrasound and advanced clinical practice will be explored.

Attendees will be equipped to understand the impact of the proposed new education routes and career structure on sonography and sonographers. This study day will provide an essential update on work currently being undertaken by Health Education England and a wide range of stakeholders, including the Society and College of Radiographers, BMUS and CASE.

The programme will be suitable for sonographers, educationalists, managers and students.
