Travel Medicine Masterclass

The Travel Medicine Masterclass provides an overview and update in the field of Travel Medicine. Over two days of interactive sessions, we will provide practical guidance on a range of pre- and post-travel issues, with a focus on travellers’ diarrhoea, vaccine preventable diseases, malaria chemoprophylaxis and high-risk travellers. Other topics that will be covered include non-infectious issues and illness in returned travellers. Many sessions will be case-based; participants are encouraged to submit their questions and cases for discussion during the two days.

The Travel Medicine short course is designed for GPs, nurses, infectious disease trainees and others providing pre- and/or post-travel healthcare to travellers. This course is accredited with the RACGP and awards 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points.
