In 2008 the program expanded to Pittsburgh and smaller metropolitan areas, and since 2013 it has been available statewide. Nearly 2000 additional Tree Tenders have since been trained.

ISA Certified Arborist, Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist, and Professional Landscape Architecture CEUs will be awarded for attendance. Tree Tender Certificates will be awarded.

Participants are asked to dress for the weather as there are two outdoor sessions during the day.
