Students will participate in 1 day of classroom and 4 days of hands-on evolutions and decision making fireground scenarios covering:- Flat Roof Operations- Peaked Roof Operations- Ground Ladders- Forcible Entry- Primary Search and Removal Procedures- Wide Area/Rope Assisted Search Procedures (RASP)These skills will enhance the students ability to better serve their respective department and community. This is an extremely labor intensive class! Please come prepared to learn, be a team player, and work!This class will run in conjunction with the Engine Company Operations class to provide realistic fireground operational scenarios.Equipment Needed: NFPA approved structural turnout gear, SCBA w/ extra bottle.The team of instructors is comprised of firefighters and fire officers from across the country with experience in urban, suburban, and rural firefighting.
