OPTIONAL WORKSHOPS ADDED:

Thursday, July 18th  -  EMVCo Education Session: EMV® Secure Remote Commerce

In an increasingly connected world, remote commerce continues to grow. According to Statista, retail e-commerce sales worldwide are projected to grow to 4.88 trillion US dollars in 2021. EMVCo has developed the EMV® Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) Specification to help address rising fraud levels in global e-commerce while reducing consumer friction during online checkout when making card-based payments. This aligns with EMVCo’s goal to facilitate worldwide interoperability and acceptance of secure payment transactions. In this educational session, Brian Byrne, EMVCo Director of Operations and Clinton Allen, Chair of the EMVCo SRC Task Force, will offer attendees insight into the current industry challenges that EMV SRC addresses and the benefits for merchants, card issuers, payment networks, consumers and other stakeholders.

All interested parties (USPF members and non-members) are eligible to attend this session. If you are a non-USPF member, please register by selecting ‘workshop only’.
