The North Dakota Management Development Collaboration is a challenging program for present and aspiring supervisors and managers. The Program focuses on the People, Processes and Tools necessary to improve individual and departmental performance. Sessions cover key elements of planning, marketing, finance and supervision with a constant focus on improved local cooperative performance. This program consists of five sessions. Session dates for the first year are: Session I: December 14-15, 2015 Session 2: February 8-9, 2016 and Session 3 July 18-19, 2016.
Jeff Goettl, CHS Organization Development Manager
After starting his career in 1980 as a management trainee in Minnesota, Jeff moved to Wisconsin and became general manager of the Camp Douglas Farmers Co-op. He joined CHS as a business consultant in 1989, and began helping other cooperatives reach their goals. Jeff’s experience includes: Extensive work in unification and financial analysis; Conducting countless feasibility studies for cooperatives that have led to mergers, consolidations and formation of limited liability companies; Many years of conducting employee education, including management and leadership training; Deep customer service expertise
Allan Larson, CHS Organization and employee development director
With over 20 years of experience designing and delivering organizational development and recruiting programs for large and small organizations, Allan brings deep experience delivering organizational talent management, recruiting, training, coaching and facilitation, succession and talent development planning, knowledge management, and employment risk and compliance service services for organizations in a variety of fields including agribusiness, medical, information technology and manufacturing. Drawing on his experience, Allan designs, delivers and manages innovative organizational development solutions for CHS partner cooperatives. Allan has undergraduate degrees from Lakewood Community College and Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, and post-graduate work at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis.
Nelle Rhicard, CHS Organization Development Manager
Nelle Rhicard, Duluth, Minn., joined CHS as Organization Development Manager in July, 2015. Prior to joining CHS, she worked at Minnesota Power, the Duluth Area YMCA and University of Minnesota Office of Civic Engagement.
Nelle’s experience includes serving as an internal organization development consultant, providing strategic workforce planning, leading change initiatives, and designing and delivering a variety of learning and development programs.
Nelle is dedicated to assisting individuals and organizations to achieve excellence in ways that support integrity and a collaborative spirit. She received her master’s degree in Management and Organization Development from the College of St. Scholastica.
Nelle is certified in various 360-degree and leader assessments, MBTI, Thomas Kilman Conflict Instrument, and Inside Out Coaching,
