Seminar Description

Active Release Techniques® Upper Extremity Level 1 provides instruction in anatomy, palpation, and treatment of soft-tissue disorders and associated articulations. The course includes 108 protocols and 35 nerve entrapment techniques®. No ART® prerequisites are required.

This seminar emphasizes the manipulation of the neuromusculoskeletal system to diagnose and correct alterations in tissue texture, tension, movement, and function. Attendees are trained to treat common musculoskeletal disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and shoulder injuries. ART® treatment utilizes manual techniques to move tissues and joints while under tension. All treatment protocols are designed to correct tissue alterations, assist the provider with articular adjustments, and ultimately shorten treatment regimens required to resolve a case.

The ART system is the conduit for the key to successful treatment: relative motion between the tissues and articulations. Evaluation and treatment occur simultaneously.

This seminar is unique because it will be hosted by our friends at NormaTec®. Attendees receive all benefits of an ART seminar, plus a Pulse Pro 2.0 unit with leg attachment, bundled together at an unprecedented discount. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of combining NormaTec compression recovery with ART treatment, a mix sure to benefit your patients, as well as your bottom line.
