How do I register?
Biennial registration will be available online beginning in Summer 2017.
Please note that each registrant must have their own email address that has not been used to register any other participant for Biennial.
What is the registration fee?

Special incentives are available for registrants who attend Biennial as part of a delegation.
What is included in my registration fee?
The Biennial registration fee includes all programming – workshops, plenary sessions, concerts, worship services – as well as access to the Biennial exhibit hall. Registration for the entire event (as well as the Friday evening-Sunday package) includes four meals: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, and Sunday breakfast.
Please note: registration does not cover the cost of your hotel or travel accommodations.
Can I alter my registration information after registering for the conference?
Yes, you can by logging into your registration using the link provided in your confirmation email. Please note, you will need your confirmation number and email address you used to register, it is provided in the confirmation email. What is the URJ Biennial registration cancellation policy?
A refund, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be issued to those from whom a written cancellation request is received by the end of the day October 31, 2017. For any written cancellation requests made on, or after, November 1, 2017, and on, or before, November 22, 2017, we will refund 50% of the total registration fee. No refunds will be given for requests received after Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Please note: there will be no exceptions to this policy, or cancellation fees waived.
Do I have to register for individual sessions/are sessions ticketed?
Most sessions are not ticketed and do not require preregistration. Attendees may choose any workshop to attend as long as space remains in the room.
The mobile app offers the option to create a personal schedule which will help you bookmark sessions you are interested in, but the app does not guarantee access to sessions if they are full.
Some special events and affinity meetings or gatherings are ticketed, and may require an additional fee.
Are there any discounts or scholarships available?

Additionally, special incentives are available for registrants who attend Biennial as part of a delegation. Small Congregations Grants (SCG) are available to a limited number of small congregations (those with 250 households or fewer) that would like to send delegates to the Biennial. A maximum of two grants will be awarded to a congregation.

How can I bring a guest?
During the online registration process registrants, will have the option to add a guest for Kabbalat Shabbat services, Shabbat dinner, and the Friday night song session. If you would like to have a guest join for a larger part of the program they will need to register as an attendee.
What are the Shabbat guest prices?
The guest price for Kabbalat Shabbat services, Shabbat dinner, and the Friday night song session is $75.
Are any expenses tax deductible?
Expenses incurred by synagogue leaders who attend the Biennial as designated delegates of their congregations may be claimed as tax deductible charitable contributions to the extent provided by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the specifics of your situation. Canadian residents should consult their local tax advisors regarding tax deductible expenses, as different laws may apply.
