This training will be conducted in two parts.
Morning session: Teachers will be introduced to a free technology resource from Google called Doctopus. Doctopus is an add-on for Google Drive that helps teachers manage the flow of shared work in their Google Drive making student feedback more efficient. Laptop recommended.
Afternoon session: Teachers will take what they learned from the morning session to the outdoors where they will participate in an interdisciplinary nature walk at the beautiful Trinity River Audubon Center. Armed with iPads, teachers will explore the flora and fauna of the Trinity River Ecoregion, guided by Audubon naturalists.
The ecoregion is home to The Great Trinity Forest, the largest urban hardwood forest in the United States. To learn more about the Trinity River Audubon Center, visit http://trinityriver.audubon.org .
