Green tea has acquired a prestigious place among beverages and has gained a global following of billions. It is packed with nutrients and beneficial component such as Flavonoids which are very powerful antioxidants. Green tea adds a deeper and more complex flavor to many dishes. When cooking with green tea, you can brew the tea, use green tea leaves, or use a powdered form (matcha) to add a unique flavor to recipes. In this course participants will create dishes using green tea in a variety of ways in a hands-on, instructor led environment.
This is a great course for friends or family members looking to enjoy some time together while experiencing something new. Anything left over can be taken home by participants of the class, so please bring a container for transport.
This course requires no previous kitchen or cooking experience. Due to the nature of this course and the work performed in our professional kitchen, participants must wear long pants, long sleeves, and flat closed-toe shoes. The course length is approximate and will vary with the number of participants and other factors.
This course is suitable for ages 14+.
