2020 Summer School "Reimagined"
Offered Virtually - June 1 - 4, 2020
The New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies, commonly called Summer School, is a 4-day intensive learning experience to further knowledge, skills, and experience in the field of substance use disorder services. Each year, participants from many disciplines come together to form a unique, diverse learning community.
In order to meet your continuing education needs during this challenging year, we are pleased to take the 51st Summer School learning community online:
The Summer School is appropriate for all who recognize the impact of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs on individuals, families, and communities. We hope to see you at this year’s Virtual Summer School!

A Note about the 2020 New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies Program
For 50 years, we have welcomed new and returning Summer School participants to experience the unique learning environment of the New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies. For the 51st year, our planning committee had once again developed a wonderful program, built to meet the needs of the New England treatment, prevention, and recovery workforce and allied social service and healthcare professionals. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts New England and the world, it has become increasingly apparent that we cannot safely gather in person during the week of June 1 – 4, as planned. We understand that many attendees each year plan on the Summer School for their professional development, and many depend on the large number of contact hours offered for their credentialing. We are pleased to offer this Virtual “Re-Imagined” New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies.
