The one-hour virtual Town Hall will focus on the importance of proper documentation in reducing the risk of malpractice claims. The first 60 minutes will include presentations from three expert faculty members, James A. Bello, Esquire; Scott Monteith, MD; and Susan O’Hara, JD. The key points that will be addressed include the most frequently identified documentation-related issues in defending malpractice claims, the challenges associated with electronic health records and handling sensitive material, and how the quality of patient care is reflected in documentation.
