Breast Tomosynthesis Workshops are only suitable for physicians.
Participants will receive individual instruction by expert faculty at their own clinical workstations while reviewing over 100 clinical Tomosynthesis data sets with accompanying standard mammography. The course will not only fulfill the FDA training requirement, but will also provide a unique opportunity to assess the potential impact Tomosynthesis could have for a physician’s practice. Limited seating due to workshop setting. Register early.
Course Objectives:
- Describe how the acquisition of Tomosynthesis images differ from the acquisition of conventional digital mammography images
- Describe strategies for systematic review of Tomosynthesis imaging data sets
- Describe approaches for evaluation of masses, calcifications, and architectural distortion seen on Tomosynthesis imaging
- Develop a practice audit to monitor radiologist performance in the interpretation of Tomosynthesis Educational Program
