The Web Managers Roundtable presents:
BlogLab 1/2 Day Training to Improve the Quality of your Blogs
Tuesday, August 16, 2011 (8:30 AM – 1 PM)
Blogging is a target acquisition for many corporations and organizations. Unfortunately, the results are usually less than hoped for. To make matters worse, the typical fixes tend to emphasize theoretical strategy over execution and so do little to improve results. BlogLab offers solutions that work better. This face-to-face training will provide the ideas and expertise needed to increase both the quality and quantity of blog postings, and supply practical tips for extending blog reach and performing other tasks essential for success. The BlogLab program goes from 8:30am till noon. Afterwards, a box lunch is served to provide an opportunity for extending and personalizing what has been covered. To insure individual attention, this workshop is limited to 20 participants.
Topics include:
- Setting expectations for success – What works?
- Managing your time – How long do blogging activities take and how can you optimize?
- Where do new ideas come from?
- How to deal with inappropriate blog comments
- Determining your audience's core themes
- Developing a production pipeline
- Posting formats that readers prefer
- Increasing your audience
- Improving audience interaction
- Technologies that improve blogging results
- How to maintain constant flow
- Stories and analysis of blogging triumphs
- Secrets of successful bloggers
