Join us for a conversation as two of the nation’s leading media experts analyze the latest trends in information consumption and consider the impact they’ll have on Internet media. Lee Rainie, Founding Director of the Pew Internet & American Life Project, will present his organization’s latest findings on how Americans use and access information. He’ll discuss the revealing places people are increasingly seeking the information they need, how mobile technologies are permanently changing the information environment, and the importance of understanding the new participatory information consumer that’s emerging.

Along the way, Marcus Brauchli, Executive Editor of the Washington Post, will size up the challenges facing his organization and others in the present era of seismic change and address what the Post is doing to remain relevant in people’s lives. He'll relate his experiences managing digital information at a time when everything is changing and talk about his top priorities as interactive proliferation remakes the media landscape.. Together, our panelists will offer an insightful look at the things anyone who’s managing information and seeking an audience in the internet age needs to know. They are sure to address:

• How do you remain a brand of authority while encouraging community involvement?
