In the final webinar of our EPL series, Andrea Asan will discuss the purpose and function of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She will cover federal laws that prohibit discrimination including: the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal PayAct, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Additionally, Andrea will cover what should happen if an employee witnesses or experiences discrimination as well as actions an employer should take if a report of discrimination is filed.
