We can’t deny that smart devices and social networking are here to stay. We also can’t deny that smart devices have been integral in changing the way medicine is being practiced. It’s important to recognize and address the impact and pitfalls from this technology. Additionally, healthcare professionals must hold themselves highly accountable when participating in social networking and communicating electronically.
