The T/TAC at VCU is committed to improving educational opportunities and contributing to the success of students with disabilities. In view of the critical role of the building
administrator and the importance of improving educational opportunities for students with disabilities, we extend an invitation to building principals and central office personnel to attend a workshop on the resource classroom setting.
The session will focus on six areas:
- Why do students with disabilities need resource class support?
- How do you create resource classes?
- What are the critical features of resource classes?
- What is the process for planning a resource class lesson?
- What does it look like?
- What are the implications for scheduling/staffing?

- Central office individuals who support administrators implementing the continuum of services for students with disabilities
