In this course, you’ll not only get to meet our very own alum Carla Harris who has competed on Beat Bobby Flay and Cutthroat Kitchen, you’ll get to cook some of her Southern inspired specialties as well! Carla will talk about her experiences on screen and give you some insight into what really goes on behind the scenes on a competition cooking show. As a 2016 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of California – San Diego, a campus of Argosy University, and a business owner, Carla has a lot of experiences to share as well as some unique recipes to teach participants. In one of our teaching kitchens, you may cook such Southern inspired dishes such as:
Pimento Cheese Wontons with Sassy Sauce
Shrimp & Grits
If you like cooking, and love cooking shows, then this is for you!
