Augmented reality (AR) has been around for a long time, but has only recently gained significant attention because of games like Pokémon Go, and projects being undertaken by companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple. It’s surprisingly easy to set up an AR channel, and many educators have been using it in their courses and learning spaces for years. Come and learn how to set up your own AR channel so that students can see digital content overlaying the real world, and get some ideas about how AR is being used in post-secondary courses.
