Insight Dialogue: Bringing Mindfulness to Life (8-week program)
Registration Deadline: January 22nd

Join us for an exploration of Insight Dialogue, an interpersonal practice that brings mindfulness to life. Mindfulness practice offers transformation, but it can be hard to carry our practice with us throughout the day. Insight dialogue, an approach developed by the Buddhist teacher Gregory Kramer, brings the stillness and presence of mindfulness into our communication and relationships. The practice of Insight Dialogue uses silence, speech, and structured inquiry to teach us to see more deeply into both ourselves and others.

This eight-week course will use readings and exercises from Kramer’s book “Insight Dialogue” to explore mindfulness in action. Although Kramer’s teaching comes from the tradition of Buddhism, the material will be presented in a completely secular way within the context of the Penn Program for Mindfulness. Willingness to work with exercises that involve interaction and communication, and a commitment to a daily mindfulness practice, are both required for participation in this program.
