Sarah Sundin, Keynote Speaker

Sarah Sundin enjoys writing about the adventure and romance of the World War II era. She is a best-selling author of 11 novels, including The Sky Above Us and The Sea Before Us. Her novels When Tides Turn and Through Waters Deep were named to Booklist’s “101 Best Romance Novels of the Last 10 Years,” and Through Waters Deep won the INSPY Award and was a finalist for the 2016 Carol Award. In 2011, Sarah received the Writer of the Year Award at the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference.

Sarah and her husband live in northern California. They have three grown children, including a sailor in the US Navy, and they are finally beginning to enjoy the empty nest. She teaches Sunday school and women’s Bible studies, and she enjoys speaking for church, community, and writers’ groups. For many years she practiced as a hospital pharmacist, but she has now hung up her white coat to concentrate on writing. She belongs to American Christian Fiction Writers and Christian Authors Network, and she serves as Fiction Program Director for the West Coast Christian Writers Conference. You can find her at
