The Global Information Security Workforce Study found that the cybersecurity workforce gap is on pace to hit 1.8 million by 2022 – a 20% increase since 2015. Jobs are remaining unfilled, ultimately resulting in a lack of resources to face current industry threats. Organizations are reporting that they do not have sufficient skilled workforce to address current threats. It is critical that organizations learn what to do to attract, enable and retain the cybersecurity talent needed to combat today’s risks. Roughly 11% of the cybersecurity workforce are women, compared to 25% in technology, and 50% of professional occupations overall. This one-day conference will introduce participants to a range of topics that will empower, educate, and provide insights on how to build a career in cybersecurity and will assist organizations build workforce strategies to enable them to overcome the challenges of the cybersecurity workforce gap.
