Woods in Your Backyard Workshop

Laurel Haven Stream (D Jackson PSU)
David Jackson, Penn State University

The Woods in Your Backyard Workshop teaches stewardship of your land. By enhancing or creating natural areas and woodland, landowners provide habitat for wildlife, improve water quality, expand recreational opportunities, and enhance aesthetics. If parcels connect with others there is opportunity to make an even bigger impact. Join us to learn how owners of even just a few acres can positively influence the environment by implementing simple stewardship practices.
