    NCMA will be offering the Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), and Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) certification exams on Sunday, July 22. All fees must be paid in advance. No walk-ins will be accepted. You do not have to be a World Congress registrant to take the exam. If you would like to apply to take your exam at World Congress, or register for your exam if you're already approved, email certification@ncmahq.org.

    NES: Pricing & Negotiating Commercial Item Contracts: Government-to-Industry & Business-to-Business

    This National Education Seminar provides hands-on experience in how commercial contracts are priced and negotiated. Participants will work in buyer and seller teams—either government-to-industry or business-to-business—to perform the following tasks:

    •Analyze a request for proposal for a portfolio of commercial services,
    •Apply FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, as applicable,
    •Identify performance and cost risks, 
    •Negotiate specific terms and conditions, 
    •Use price analysis techniques to develop a proposal, and
    •Strike a winning agreement that appropriately balances financial risk between buyer and seller.

    Various pricing arrangements (fixed price, time and materials, and hybrids with incentives) will be considered. Likewise, various pricing strategies will be explored, challenging participants to work creatively and collaboratively.
