Retirement Income Planning - Tuesday, September 13th, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Planning for retirement income starts with three basic questions: What does retirement mean to you, when do you plan to retire and how long will your retirement last--in other words, how long a distribution period should you plan for? In this session, our The CFS* financial advisors on WPCU’s Retirement Solutions team, available through CFS,* will discuss these basic questions to help you plan for retirement. Retirement Basics - Wednesday, October 12th, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Most of us imagine retirement as a happy time, a reward for a lifetime of hard work, full of possibility and potential. Many of us look forward to pursuing hobbies and traveling, while others may see the opportunity to go back to school or to start a new career or business. This makes planning for our retirement essential. This seminar will cover the basics of planning for retirement. Borrow Smarter: Think Like a Lender! – November 3rd – 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
We’ll explore what lenders look for in a healthy borrower, when to borrow, what to look for when shopping for a loan and most importantly, how to repay and demolishing debt! Session will be held in 035 Medical Sciences.
Estate Planning (and College Savings Planning)– November 15th – 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
While there’s no such thing as a “one size fits all” estate plan, this overview and the financial advisors on WPCU’s Retirement Solutions team, available through CFS,* may assist you in thinking about your own estate planning needs. In addition, we will discuss college savings options to help plan for you and your family's future. Session will be held in the Student Union Rathskellar.
