Definition:
Affiliate | A term referring to a group or organization not associated with the host of an event that is holding an event or a block of rooms in conjunction with a larger meeting or event. For example, if a chapter of an association blocks off a set of rooms for their chapter members in conjunction with the association's national convention, they would be referred to as an affiliate.
