GIF
Definition:
GIF | An abbreviation of the term Graphics Interchange Format. A GIF is an 8-bit-per-pixel bitmap image format that utilizes a palette of up to 256 different colors and allows for universal usage and portability. The GIF format is ideal for images with large blocks of solid color (i.e. logos or graphics), but should not be used for the replication of images with continuous color such as photographs. Cvent supports numerous image file formats including GIF, JPG, PDF and TIFF to make the transfer and exchange of data as painless as possible.
