Nauti-Cat

Recreation
15 minutes away
At 47' long, 29' wide, and almost 50 tons displacement the Nauti-Cat handled most of the Gulf's weather with its Simpson & Wild design. With a maximum capacity of 46 there's more than enough room to walk around and go down below decks as well. You can see the Nauti-Cat from a distance, having almost 1,000 square feet of sail propelling the ship. Being a catamaran, the ship slices through the water with great stability and with a soothing motion. In 1998, the Nauti-Cat was re-outfitted with all new gear including a 63' mast, boom, winches, halyards, sails, and 2 new engines. It also made its debut in Traverse City. On board you will also find 2 "heads." (That's bathrooms for you land lubbers!) The Nauti-Cat now sails West Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City Michigan 4 times a day, 7 days a week.
