Why Choose Our Destination?

In 1976, the AHCC formed our full-service Convention and Tourism (C&T) Department to promote globally, Albuquerque as a destination for tourism and conventions, specifically to the Native American and Hispanic markets. We are a specialized department with a highly qualified, professional, and dedicated team with over 50 combined years of experience. While professionalism is at our core, we complement such by embracing our clients as extended family, “familia”. This hands-on approach is a major strength and a testament to our past and current successes. When you come to Albuquerque, you’ve come to a land that changes faces before your eyes. Ski in the morning, and hit golf balls in the afternoon. A little nightlife on the city square, or a relaxing spa experience, might fit the same weekend bill out here. Rich in the Extraordinary. Experience: Flamenco Festival, Mariachi Spectacular, Balloon Fiesta, some of the most incredible events in the world, and all the site seeing you can handle. With a rich cultural history and an extraordinary amount of variety to offer anyone by way of experience, Albuquerque is a hands down must-travel-to, kind of city. Shop, relax, and explore. Discover old trails, and travel along the new paths that are the envy of other metropolitan areas. Albuquerque, come prepared to stay. If New Mexican cuisine doesn't make you feel as though you've been transported to another county altogether, the city's pueblo revival architecture and striking Sandia Mountain will.
