Additional Information

The Conference & Events Centre is the culmination of a three-year multi-million-dollar project to bring the finest conference, exhibition and banquet venues to the heart of Amman, Jordan’s capital city. The concept design for the building has been conceived by AART International Architectes Associes based in Paris. Interior design has been created by the internationally acclaimed, award-winning HBA Hirsch-Bedner and Associates. Incorporated within the iconic terracotta exterior is a Grand Ballroom, a multi-purpose Exhibition Hall, a large outdoor roof terrace and three circular panoramic VIP meeting rooms. State-of-the-art audio-visual and acoustics have been installed by Shen, Milsom & Wilke, headquartered in the US, giving the venues a whole new level of technology for the first time in Amman. The exquisite Grand Ballroom is adorned with 14 Swarovski crystal chandeliers, each one consisting of 3,072 strands of crystal. Nestled in the 6.5-metre-high ballroom ceiling, they lend elegant and timeless luxury to the overall decor. Above the Grand Ballroom is the Onyx Hall, a multi-purpose space with full natural daylight separated by a 3.5 m void to ensure complete sound isolation from the floor below. The Onyx Hall is 760 sq m, with an additional 250 sq m of outdoor terrace. Perfect for exhibitions and product launches (there is even access for vehicles), this versatile space can be used for conferences, weddings and social events too. Above the Onyx Hall is the Luna Sky Terrace. This superb open-air space of 650 sq m is sure to be a hit for outdoor receptions, weddings and social events in the summer months. Three panoramic VIP function rooms offer superb views of the capital and are flooded with natural daylight. Ideal as breakout rooms or secretariats, or used for smaller receptions or VIP lunches, these spaces fully complement the main halls. The combination of the new meeting space coupled with the existing 12 function rooms, including the 460 sq m Al Reem Ballroom, will define Kempinski Amman as the premier meetings & events venue in Amman. The tastefully decorated rooms and dining venues of the main hotel are artfully connected to the new meeting and events centre by the brand-new Reception and lobby area, now situated on the Mezzanine level between the two buildings, thereby offering an unparalleled meeting, exhibition and social events hub in the heart of the capital city of Jordan.
