The city of Aurora, Colorado, serves as the gateway to the Rockies and a fantastic meeting destination. Located close to the mountains and within 30 minutes of Denver International Airport (one of the country's busiest), as well as the intersection of Interstates 70 and 225, Aurora is easily accessed by meeting travelers. Opened in 2018, the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center is the city's premier meeting and event center, featuring more than 485,000 square feet of flexible event space. Engage in fun team-building at the Spider Monkey indoor trampoline park or along 27 miles of horseback riding trails with 12 Mile Stables. When it's time to unwind, enjoy plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment in such Aurora hot spots as the Southlands outdoor lifestyle center and On Havana Street, a 5-mile stretch of ethnic eateries and shops.

Located about 30 minutes outside Aurora, Denver International Airport features more than 750 daily flights to over 200 nonstop domestic and international destinations. It ranks as the 20th-busiest airport in the world and fifth-busiest in the United States, with more than 64 million passengers each year.
Serving the Denver metro area, RTD operates more than 170 bus routes and nine rail lines, including service in Aurora. Its R Line offers light rail service from Denver through Aurora and connects to the University of Colorado A Line, which serves Denver International Airport.
