The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 m from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station. All 73 rooms were stylishly renovated at the beginning of 2016 and are attractive with modern, charming furnishings. All rooms are non-smoking and have an electric fan, free minibar, safe, direct-dial telephone, flatscreen TV with over 100 channels and free Wi-Fi. As a host in Kleinbasel, it is important that we give our guests a little piece of Kleinbasel. Hence, the art in the rooms depicts scenes from "Vogel Gryff" – the most important bank holiday in Kleinbasel. All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. The buffet breakfast will be served in the winter garden, or, weather permitting, you can have breakfast in the garden. A fitness room is at your disposal as well and bikes can be rented free of charge. All public transport can be used free of charge during your stay in Basel. Tram number 2 directly connects Hotel Wettstein to the SBB train station and the Messe Basel fairgrounds. The Badischer Bahnhof station is close by as well. The motorway exit Basel Wettstein is only 3 minutes' drive away. This is our guests' favourite part of Basel, according to independent reviews. Cancellation Policy
Individual guest: The amendment or cancellation of a booking for an individual guest can be made up to one day prior to arrival at the latest 11:59 pm free of charge. Cancellations are confirmed by the hotel in writing. Cancellations at short notice or no-shows are charged at 100%. Group guest: The cancellation of a definitively confirmed group must be communicated in writing. The following costs are charged: •21 to 15 days prior to arrival, 50% of the rate for the hotel rooms •14 to 08 days prior to arrival, 75% of the rate for the hotel rooms 1 week prior to arrival incurs a charge of 90% of the rate for the hotel rooms. The basis for the calculation of charges is the number of participants specified in the definitive confirmation of the reservation. For trade fairs, the following rule applies: Different cancellation conditions apply depending on the trade fair or direct bookings. These are communicated to the guest in writing when the quotation is made and also in the confirmation.
